Eagle Ford Thickness Maps

  1. Those are good maps, where did you get them? I think the $3,500 per acre lease bonus is a little out of date now. Operators are paying much more now for land blocking their previously leased acreage. If you own land in the way of one of their horizontal laterals you should be able to negotiate a sweet deal.

  2. The thicker parts of the trend allow for upper and lower fracs thereby roughly doubling the estimated ultimate recovery of oil and gas. These 100' or more thick parts of the trend , are twice as commercial as some of the thinner sections.

  3. That honeycomb frac design ought to make the oil wells produce way more than what I would have thought. Do you have any operator maps that highlight the thickness of the Goldilocks zone?

  4. The EUR's are coming in much stronger than expected. Look for really large increases in EUR's especially in the eastern oil window in that goldilocks area.

  5. Technology continues to improve by leaps and bounds, Schlumberger currently has a frac that is increasing Eagle Ford oil recovery by 50% over earlier wells. That means millions more dollars.
